North Bay Print & Poetry Festival

Join us for the first annual North Bay Print & Poetry Festival in the Graton Town Square. Poetry, music, and the art of printmaking come alive on a grand scale at this free, daylong community celebration. Watch massive linoleum blocks inked and printed beneath a classic street paver, hear the voices of acclaimed poets from Sonoma County and beyond, explore local vendors, and enjoy live music, food, and community.


Event Schedule

  • 10:00am – Gates Open
    Vendors, artists, and printmaking in action all day

  • 11:00am–12:30pm – Poetry Readings
    Sonoma County Poet Laureate Dave Seter will launch the day, followed by readings by Iris Jamahl Dunkle, judi goldberg, Jodi Hottel, Diane Martin, Terry Ehret, Amanda Moore & Mira Rosenthal

  • 1:00–2:30pm – Live Music by Sakoyana

  • 2:30–4:00pm – Poetry Readings
    Readings from VOLT Literary Magazine - Alex Mattraw, Erik Soto, Noah Ross, Stefan Kiesbye, Stefan Kiesbye, Domenic Stansberry, Gillian Conoley & erica lewis

  • 4:00pm – Print Features, Raffle, & MadLibs Poetry

  • 4:30–6:00pm – Live Music by Spike Sikes and His Awesome Hotcakes

  • Road Roller Printing and community art activities all day alongside the main stage program. Watch limited edition prints come to life under the paver, make your own posters and zines, print an exquisite corpse, and enter the MadLibs poetry contest!

Purchase Prints

Take home a piece of history. Limited edition prints created live during the festival will be available for sale to the public.

Proceeds benefit North Bay Letterpress Arts and Re/Village Green Valley.

Volunteer

Get inky, stay clean, guide a steamroller—volunteering at the North Bay Print & Poetry Festival is hands-on, collaborative, and unforgettable. From wrangling paper and ink to welcoming guests or helping kids make quirky prints, there’s a role for everyone.

Volunteers receive a free festival T-shirt, behind-the-scenes access, and the chance to be part of this epic community art event.

The North Bay Print & Poetry Festival is located in the small community of Graton, 10 minutes northwest of Sebastopol.

We encourage carpooling, biking, or public transit where possible. Free parking available within walking distance of the festival.
