Learn the fundamental tools and techniques of letterpress printing in this hands-on workshop. Students learn the essentials of typesetting, press work, lockup-up, and makeready and experience the magic of bringing words to life on our Vandercook SP15 cylinder press. Every student gets a chance to operate the press and pull a handful of prints to bring home.
Please be conscious that cleanup and putting type away is every students responsibility, it does take time, and is part of the full letterpress experience.
